Description
Description
Drawer sides cut in a batch, all one length, are the everyday job of the Miter Gauge with 18 in Fence. The fence is a single extruded aluminum bar with inch and mm scales. With nothing to extend, the flip stop reads straight off one scale every time you set it, and the setting you trust today reads the same next month.
Zero the flip stop to the blade once, and the fence becomes your tape measure. Set a length, lock the stop, and cut part after part against it. When a part comes out a hair long, the micro adjuster moves the stop in 0.001 in steps. The magnifying glass on the pointer shows exactly how far it went.
Miter cuts use the same button system as our extending gauges. Lift it, rotate the protractor, and a pin finds one of 13 stop holes between -67.5 and 67.5°. Four adjustable rings fit the bar to a 3/8 x 3/4 in T-slot or U-slot. The sliding pad underneath lets the gauge move over the table without dragging.

Questions
Questions about the GOINGMAKE Miter Gauge with 18 in Fence
Do you still need a tape measure with the GOINGMAKE 18 in miter gauge?
Not for repeat parts. Once the flip stop is zeroed to the blade, the inch and mm scales on the 18 in fence set the length, and the micro adjuster trims it in 0.001 in steps.
Is the GOINGMAKE 18 in fence long enough for your crosscuts?
For drawer parts, face frame rails and most project pieces, yes. For tabletops and wide panels, look at our extending gauges with 32 or 38 in reach. The miter gauge finder matches fence to saw.
A table saw cuts fingers as easily as wood. The agencies below put the numbers on it and say what keeps hands out of the line of the cut.
