Description
Description
Small shops still meet the occasional wide board, and the Compact Miter Gauge, 14 to 24 in, covers it without the bulk of a cabinet-saw gauge. The fence works at 14 in for box parts and pulls out to 24 in for a shelf. Its body is a size up from our 12 in gauges. That extra mass makes it steadier under the hand.
Read the 14 in bar length against the depth of your saw table before you order. Adjustable rings on the bar tune its fit in a standard 3/8 x 3/4 in T-slot or U-slot. The gauge then slides without side play, and the cut stays where the scale put it.
Settings come off inch and mm scales under a magnifier. Eleven positive stops cover 90, 60, 45, 30, 22.5, 15 and 0° each way, and a plastic locking handle clamps the protractor against metal stops. The flip stop zeroes to the blade like our other gauges, after which the fence scale sets each length.

Questions
Questions about the GOINGMAKE Compact Miter Gauge, 14 to 24 in
How is the GOINGMAKE 14 to 24 in gauge different from your 12 to 21 in one?
It is a step larger, with a 14 in bar instead of 12 in and a fence that reaches 24 in instead of 21 in. On a short jobsite table, the 12 in bar may sit better.
Will the GOINGMAKE Compact Miter Gauge, 14 to 24 in, fit your portable saw?
It fits a 3/8 x 3/4 in T-slot or U-slot. Check that your table runs at least 14 in from its front edge along the slot, so the bar does not hang off.
A table saw cuts fingers as easily as wood. The agencies below put the numbers on it and say what keeps hands out of the line of the cut.
