Description
Description
If your contractor or hybrid saw has a short table in front of the blade, a full-length bar overhangs it. The Portable Miter Gauge pairs a 14 in (360 mm) bar with a 460 mm fence. The gauge sits within the table and still gives you 18 in of fence behind a longer part.
The bar carries adjusters at the front, the middle and the end. Together they take the wobble out of a 3/8 x 3/4 in slot. Eleven positive stops lock 90, 60, 45, 30, 22.5, 15 and 0° on each side. Between those stops, the laser scale lets you set any angle from -60 to 60°, and the handle clamps it there.
Zeroing is quick because a 1 to 3 mm gap between blade and fence is designed in. Put the flip stop pointer on 0, lock it, and slide the fence until the stop meets the blade. The pointer sits under a magnifier, and a locating pin lets the stop seat against an angled end as well as a square one.

Questions
Questions about the GOINGMAKE Portable Miter Gauge, 18 in Fence
Why does the GOINGMAKE Portable Miter Gauge have a shorter bar than its fence?
The 14 in bar suits saws with a short table ahead of the blade, while the 18 in fence supports longer stock. Measure from the front edge of your table to the blade, along the slot, before you choose.
Can you cut a 22.5° miter with the GOINGMAKE Portable Miter Gauge?
Yes. 22.5° is one of its eleven positive stops, on both sides, so an eight-sided frame needs no protractor reading. Angles between the stops are set on the laser scale.
A table saw cuts fingers as easily as wood. The agencies below put the numbers on it and say what keeps hands out of the line of the cut.
