Description
Description
Reading a scale from an angle on a long rip can put you a line off. On this version of our parallel guide, the magnifier pointer lies on the same plane as the scale, and the glass enlarges both the numbers and the laser-engraved lines. Its flip stop is our reworked one, more solid and steadier than the first version.
How many tracks you join depends on the job. Two tracks give a compact setup for cabinet parts, drawer components and shelving. Three cover wider panels such as cabinet sides. All four reach the full 53 in for closets, built-ins and shop cabinets. Imperial and metric scales run separately from 0 to 53 in (0 to 1350 mm).
Calibration ends with a steel head on the rod touching the square edge and the zero knob turned to 0. A screw then locks the setting, and it stays put cut after cut. The brackets take Festool, Makita, Milwaukee, Triton, Powertec and WEN rails, the same list as our first parallel guide.

Questions
Questions about the GOINGMAKE Track Saw Parallel Guide with Magnifier
What does the magnifier add to your GOINGMAKE parallel guide?
The pointer and the scale share one plane, so the reading does not shift as you lean over a wide sheet. The glass enlarges the numbers and the lines under it.
How many tracks should you connect on the GOINGMAKE parallel guide for cabinet sides?
Three tracks suit cabinet sides and other wide panels. Two tracks handle drawer parts and shelving, and all four reach the 53 in maximum for closets and built-ins.
A track saw is a circular saw on a rail, and the same rules of support and kickback apply to it.
